Ian Sings!

A-B-C-D! Yesterday in the car I think he got as far as "E". It is clearly recognizable in letters and tune. Very cool, because I don't sign that song very much so he must have picked it up at daycare. He sang the phrase once yesterday and twice today. Guess I will start signing the Alphabet song more often.

Yay Ian! I love to hear the kids sing. Honor never stops :-) She has given life a soundtrack for us.

His first recognizable song was "I-E-I-E-O!" from Old MacDonald. I was really surprised by the ABC song. He usually signs his own songs, including,"Wee Da Whoa Da Woo". I sign that one back to him because I like it.

I think there is something very special about our 'made-up' songs. Much better than the ones that everyone else knows! Its a family thing :-)

We have one, to the tune of "Ride of the Valkyries",
but our words are "Upsidedown baby, upsidedown baby, upsidedown baby, da,da,dummmm!" Altho now we have to use their names when we flip them over - no more babies :-( ! Not sure I'll be capable of playing that game much longer, Brian is over 60lbs now!, though I hope they remember it for their kids.
