Glass Lock, Tupperware Alternative
I've been trying to cook more and then portion leftovers immediately for lunches. It makes me more likely to come home to eat and more likely for Curt to take his lunch if it is ready to go. I only had Ziplock and Glad plastic storage containers and I don't think Curt should be microwaving the food in there. I needed more food storage containers anyway, so I headed to E Mart and picked up 6 Glass Lock containers. The lid has a seal and snaps on in 4 pieces. Just put my first batch of leftovers in them and I like them so far. I am hoping the lids hold up, though.

Funny, I just threw out a bunch of my plastic lock n locks because I'm going to get some glass ones. Great minds...
How did the lids hold up on your plastic ones? Are they the same company? I got mine on sale at EMart in three packs, though, I bet you can get a better deal online.
The lids are fine. It's just that the plastic absorbs the smells, so stuff the held some fermented Korean food now really stinks. Plus there's the microwave thing...
There are some good deals on gmarket, but they're bigger sets with smaller containers, since Koreans do the little sidedish thing. I'm going to get mine at Emart or Homeplus so I can pick my own sizes...
