That is all.

Go see Steph's doctor and get the prescription but keep trying to nurse as much as possible.

You are doing well, you just need the confidence. The baby doesn't need to be obese to be healthy. Give as the smallest amount of formula or pumped milk that you can to get through.

You are breastfeeding so the question is not,"Will you be able to breastfeed?" The question is."Will you be able to (or do you want to) exclusively breastfeed?" You are doing a great job with nursing.Mama Seoulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16013830400454840736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4906326566013649084.post-39735771845035549982010-05-23T04:20:41.717-07:002010-05-23T04:20:41.717-07:00Thanks for guiding me to this post. It seems like ...Thanks for guiding me to this post. It seems like the people I talk to who had latch problems were able to fix it but the people who had supply issues had more trouble correcting it or couldn't correct it.

I found one person on the board who thought they had supply issues and corrected it through medication. However I found a lot more who were unsuccessful.

Btw, would u mind sharing what amount u supplemented with?

I am really irritated with myself because I enjoy breastfeeding and so does my baby. He can attach himself sometimes when I'm passed out on my side in bed.

I really hope I can get this medication and up my supply. As it is now, I think if I didnt supplement, he would survivie but he would be very thin and unhappy.

Obviously not an option for me!Crystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01897775291631569818noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4906326566013649084.post-85319965054337773582007-03-22T08:57:00.000-07:002007-03-22T08:57:00.000-07:00Thanks! I had a lot of pain at first and COULD NOT get my daughter to latch properly, in spite of the instructions. So frustrating. I just stuck with it, and eventually Katherine figured out on her own how to latch right.miller_schlosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06189856034621580012noreply@blogger.com
